About Us

Studio 54x was founded in 2012 as a private, one-woman business and has since expanded to a physical location with set backgrounds and props. Additionally, the studio now employs several photographers and editors to ensure that only high-quality work is produced.

Founder Sarah Kim has been taking photos since 1996 and began her professional career in 2003. She moved to Ithaca, NY in 2007 and has been servicing the Finger Lakes area ever since. As a longtime Ithacan, Sarah knows the area like the back of her hand, scouting outdoor locations and building a list of the most unique, beautiful backgrounds in the area.
